In honor of our 50th anniversary, we’re celebrating the people behind Fashion Club 70. Up Close With those who have been part of the company for many years. A series of 12 people, the whole year round, that define the half-century of FC70.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE FASHION CLUB 70 IN ONE WORD?

A fashion empire with many brands under one roof. Especially when you think back to Luc’s wonderful story 50 years ago. My journey started 23 years ago, selling brands like EXTE by Versace and Dolce & Gabbana’s second line.

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE COMPANY AND WHERE DOES YOUR EXPERTISE LIE?

I focus on building strong relationships with clients, as they are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we find the perfect selection for their store. Great service is just as important as the sale itself, even if it means following up on their busy Saturdays.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, AND HOW HAS FC70 RESPONDED TO IT?

The biggest change in fashion over the past few years is the rise of online shopping, which has taken away from the magic of in-store shopping. While online shopping is convenient, it misses the thrill of discovering something unexpected, the joy of trying on pieces, and the personal connection with a store and its team. The experience of feeling fabrics, seeing colors in real life, and enjoying the atmosphere of a beautifully curated store simply can’t be replicated online.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST MEMORY AT FC70?

The fact that I have been working at FC70 for 23 years!
