In honor of our 50th anniversary, we’re celebrating the people behind Fashion Club 70. Up Close With those who have been part of the company for many years. A series of 12 people, the whole year round, that define the half-century of FC70.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE FASHION CLUB 70 IN ONE WORD?

The ‘place-to-be’ for all fashion brands, whether they’re big names or small starters, international or Belgian…

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE WITHIN THE COMPANY AND WHERE DOES YOUR EXPERTISE LIE?

I see my role as a Fashion Guide. I assist my clients in their buying process, guiding them to find the right direction while also surprising them with new collections and brands they might not have initially considered. Providing good service is an important part of my daily tasks. This includes being available to answer questions about the collections and their orders. We view this as a continuous process, both before and after the purchase.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS, AND HOW HAS FC70 RESPONDED TO IT?

The rise of digital presence. Social media has made our clients more informed, which pushes us to stay up-to-date with knowledge and fresh collections. Everything has become more visual, thanks to the online presence. Instagram, for example, allows us to think and see more visually, giving clients a fixed idea of what they want.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST MEMORY AT FC70?

Over 30 years, we’ve made so many memories, I can’t choose between all those beautiful moments. I truly feel proud to work for Fashion Club 70.
